Our parent company, Diamond Building, specializes in the construction and renovation of high-end homes in Metro Detroit. This provides Woodcraft Customs access to a cross-functional team with over 20 years of experience in their respective specialties.
Chris Sentowski
Founder | Owner | Lead Craftsman
Chris has extensive knowledge of the trade and a true passion for the craft. With dedication, hard work and perseverance, Chris attained his license and started his first company at the age of 20. He currently owns & operates Diamond Building, a successful building company, in addition to Woodcraft Customs.
At Woodcraft Customs, Chris is personally involved in all aspects of the process and continuously furthers his education and knowledge of the trade. He has assembled a close-knit team of individuals who share his vision and drive. When he’s not working, he can often be found outdoors, enjoying time on the lake, skiing, snowmobiling, golfing, playing hockey, and spending time with his family and wife Ellen.
Cory
Business Development & Operations Manager
Corey entered Woodcraft Customs in early 2019 and brings with him over 10 years’ experience in operations management. As a Michigan State University Alumni, he carries the Spartan drive to succeed. He provides administrative, technical, and logistical support to ensure the business is running smoothly day-to-day. In his free time, he enjoys kayaking, brewing beer, and working on cars.
Steve Brossard
Project Manager
Steve has been a part of the team since its founding. His numerous years of hands-on experience in the trade, along with his level of professionalism, have made him one of the most well-rounded project managers in the industry. Steve oversees on-site builds and installations, working closely with designers, architects, and homeowners to provide a fluid customer experience. When off the clock, Steve is enjoying the outdoors in every way possible: hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, and spending time with family and close friends.
Aaron Perlman
Lead Designer
Aaron is the newest addition to the growing team at Woodcraft Customs. As a graduate of Kendall College of Art and Design, he has quickly become an integral part of the team. He uses computer technology and beautiful hand-drawn renderings to wow customers. In addition, Aaron handles material sourcing, ordering and purchasing. In his free time, Aaron enjoys camping with his family and a good craft beer.
Sean Simney
Designer | Craftsman
With an eye for detail and a steady hand, Sean brings forth the artistic touch that rounds off Woodcraft Customs’ talented crew. Sean’s ability to contrive beautifully rendered technical drawings, combined with his skills in the woodshop, make him a client’s best friend as he’s able to turn their ideas into tangible products. His interests outside of work include enjoying the great outdoors of northern Michigan, and a passion for soccer.

Chris has worked with long-time friend and owner Chris Sentowski since 2008 and joined the Woodcraft Customs team early on. His carpentry experience, communication skills, and positive attitude add to the success of the team. Whether in the shop working on a project or in the field installing, Chris continues to produce quality work time after time. Chris’s hobbies include football, golf, and hockey… if it’s a sport, he’s a fan.
Josh Yaroch
Craftsman | Installer
Josh’s on-the-fly problem solving, attention to detail, and meticulous craftsmanship make him an integral part of Woodcraft Customs. As a licensed himself builder, his vision for creative solutions allows us to push the envelope to create one-of-a-kind spaces. When not at work, Josh loves spending time with his children.
